Since 2015 ECLI has provided holistic, trauma informed services to youth and families in underserved and marginalized communities across LI.
In 2019 ECLI has served 712 youth and provided 1,929 services.
In 2018, ECLI in collaboration with the Suffolk County Police Department created and implemented the SCATI; a multidisciplinary group of law enforcement, NGO's, professionals and community stakeholders. Its mission is to identify victims of human trafficking on Long Island, provide victims with holistic support services, educate the community on issues of human trafficking and support the prosecution of traffickers.
In 2019 ECLI served 168 victims of human trafficking and provided 7,657 services.
Since 2015 ECLI has provided group, individual counseling, advocacy, and reentry services to women and youth incarcerated within the Suffolk County Correctional Facilities.
Services focus on building relationships with individuals before release and supporting their reintegration into the community.
In 2019, 256 incarcerated individuals were served and 6,661 services were provided.
