ECLI offers individual and group mental health counseling services in-office to victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, women within the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Choose to Thrive and Addiction Treatment Programs, as well as youth within the Sheriff’s Choose your Path Program. Counselors also provide the coordination of additional support and resources when necessary such as inpatient/outpatient substance abuse services, psychiatric referrals and help identifying and accessing medical services.

Evidenced-based approaches used by ECLI mental health service providers include: DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing), Mindfulness based therapies, Breath and Body work/regulation, Interpersonal therapies, Psychodynamic therapies, Creative therapies (art, music, and narrative), Animal Assisted Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
