Mrs. Arias is a child of immigrants, born in New York, and a proud Latina. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Queens College. Through her 15 year career in child welfare and victim support services, Alexandra received extensive training in trauma informed care, strengths based models of working with individuals, cultural competency, and sexual abuse investigation. Alexandra believes meeting people “where they are at” is a key to successful outcomes. She takes a holistic approach to working with individuals and families. Alexandra looks forward to supporting the community via Project Hope.
