Ginger Rizzo

Human Trafficking Advocate Counselor


Ginger Rizzo received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the City University of New York, Brooklyn College, and holds a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from City University of New York, Queens College. Ms. Rizzo is certified in Trauma-Informed Care through the University of Buffalo School of Social work, and has been accredited by the National Advocate Credentialing Program at the Provisional Level. Ms. Rizzo provides advocacy, individual and group therapy to survivors of trauma, with an emphasis on treating survivors of human trafficking, at Suffolk County’s Human Trafficking Intervention Court, Touro Law School, Suffolk County Correctional Facility and within the community. Ms. Rizzo has always been passionate about empowering and uplifting others through using a compassionate, strengths-based approach to therapy.
